Paired with KenCast’s patented Application Layer (AL) Forward Error Correction (FEC) algorithms, Fazzt has evolved through three decades of real-world deployment and direct customer input. Customers value Fazzt as a versatile “Swiss Army knife” for IP distribution, natively incorporating the features and operational controls required by modern data distributors over IP for delivering mission-critical data and/or video stream at scale—making complex distribution environments easier to manage, monitor, and optimize. Beyond this, KenCast’s engineering team brings deep domain expertise, working closely with customers to refine and extend the platform to meet specific and unique requirements.


On the transmitting side, Fazzt includes the Enterprise Server, which supports both multicast and unicast distribution. It can be deployed as a single node or configured for failover, load balancing, and high availability using dual-node or multi-node architectures. Enterprise Server deployments are further customizable as single-site or limited-site servers to align with operational scope and licensing requirements. Fazzt also includes the Contribution Server, which ingests and prepares data and feeds it into the Enterprise Server for downstream network delivery. All transmitting components are available as software-only deployments for hosts or VM installments or embedded within dedicated hardware platforms.

Fazzt Contribution Server
The entry point for either or both data and video streams into your Fazzt network. Receives your data, encoder streams, or automation systems via local, remote or cloud. Applies AL-FEC encoding and delivers to Enterprise Servers for distribution.It acts as the "front door" for data entering the Fazzt ecosystem.
Fazzt Enterprise Server
The brain of your operation with most of the Fazzt Contribution Server capabilities. Manages scheduling, encryption, bandwidth allocation, and distribution to endpoints worldwide. Scales from single-node to fully redundant multi-node configurations.
Fazzt Professional Client
Receive transmissions, reconstruct missing data via AL-FEC, validate integrity, and deliver to local applications and databases. Available as a self-hosted or EdgeSpan appliance.

Fazzt Receiving Products
On the receive side, Fazzt offers a FIPS 140-3 complaint Enterprise Client, designed for Government and Defense environments, and the Professional Client, intended for commercial deployments on self-hosted computers or integrated on end node (digital signage) use cases.
